Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Please release the DVD
I would buy this in a second flat. This movie was the best thing since sliced bread to me as I grew up. I have the old beat-up VHS copy, and a bootleg DVD from who-knows-where that won't play in my DVD player - I want a real genuine version PLEASE! I'm begging.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Patiently Waiting
I grew up watching moonwalk. I think it is one of the best films ever made. I am dying to obtain a copy to show my children what a real classic is all about. Please hurry!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best of Michael Jackson
I first watched Moonwalker when I was 8 years old and I have been hooked on it ever since!! How could they wait this long to release it on DVD? Moonwalker is evidence as to why America fell in love with Michael in the first place. Speed Demon, Bad, Dirty Diana- Moonwalker IS Michael Jackson. Please release it on DVD as soon as possible!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great dancing but NOT for children
I felt compelled to write this review for anyone who, like me, intended to purchase this for their children. It has many great scenes/stories that are fun for kids, but the last 1/4 of the film is extremely violent--machine guns, mobsters, shootings, child abduction, etc. This is unfortunate as this last segment contains some of the best dancing and choreography of the entire video.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Needs to be on DVD
Not having this on DVD is a shame. This was a truly great film, and deserves to be on DVD. How hard could it be? Trust me, with things like Amazon.com, anyone who doesn't want to admit that they would like to buy it, can do so in the privacy of their own home. It would sell, tremendously!!

Hurricanes, as we've seen, can wreak serious havoc when they strike populated areas. We've never had control over them before, but one researcher thinks they could be broken up with F-4 fighter jets.

In theory, sending in a pair of the jets to do loops around the eye of the hurricane while it's still out over the ocean, creating sonic booms, would break it up before it hits the shore.

Jet fighters flying at supersonic speeds along special trajectories with a hurricane/typhoon at various altitudes would create supersonic booms. In one such embodiment, the trajectories for the supersonic booms of the present invention are counter to the rotational component of the hurricane and/or typhoon being targeted. As such, supersonic booms can be tailored and/or designed to partially and/or fully -negate the basic rotational contribution in a hurricane by slowing down a hurricane's/typhoon's rotation. Additionally, when supersonic booms propagate downward to the surface of the ocean they also destabilize a hurricane's/typhoon's structure by increasing the pressure in the central part of a hurricane's/typhoon's eye.

It's a pretty crazy idea, but I guess it makes sense. It would be pretty amazing to be able to stop any hurricane before it hit shore, saving millions and millions of dollars and who knows how many lives. I can't wait for them to test this out. [Patent via AV Web; Thanks, Jason!]
